Classes
Esteemed Kids classes are designed for small groups of 30 or less.
They are more hands-on and individualized, involving each child in
art, drama and music activities. The classes are appropriate for children
ages 6 -15.
We also can design classes to meet a group's specific needs. Classes
are typically 60- 90 minutes but can be adjusted to fit into any time
frame. You may add these classes to your program as a one-time visit,
a series of after-school classes, or even a week-long camp.
The different topics include:
- Power of Thoughts and Word ~ Students learn about the power of
their mind and the importance of controlling negative thoughts.
They are given tools to help them monitor and shift their mental attitude from negative to positive.
- Respecting Differences ~ Students learn to recognize the many similarities between people and understand that the one universal desire is acceptance.
- Peer Pressure ~ Students experience the power of peer pressure and the negative affects and consequences it can have. Through role-play they are empowered to resist and make better choices.
- Emotions and Feelings ~ Younger students explore all the different emotions and learn that there are no "bad" feelings only poor choices.
- Conflict Resolution ~ Older students explore their emotional triggers
and are given tools to help them think before they react.
- You Can Make a Difference ~ Students are inspired to "Pay if Forward"
by recognizing how little things add up to a big difference.
- Future Quest ~ Students are encouraged to identify their gifts and learn to listen to their intuition . Students create vision maps that help them find their path and follow it.
- Colors of the Heart ~ Students increase their awareness of the affect color has on our emotions and how it can be used to change one's mood.
- Heroes ~ Students are exposed to a variety of activites centered around
everyday heroes. Students are guided to identify their own role-
models to serve as inspiration when the going gets tough.
- Peacemakers ~ Students are empowered to believe in the possibility of a future without war.
